Leigh J. Martinson is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Boston office.   As a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, Leigh focuses his practice on strategic patent portfolio management and complex patent litigation in the areas of computer hardware, software, optics, medical devices, RFID technologies, packet and circuit telecommunications, wireless communications and Internet technologies.   

Leigh received his bachelor’s degree from Michigan Technological University in 1998 and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2003, with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law.  While in law school, Leigh was selected for the 2003 American Intellectual Property Law Association Giles Rich Moot Court Competition and worked as a patent agent at a local Boston law firm.

Leigh is admitted to practice in the state of Massachusetts and before, the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
