Dr. Andrea Helfrich is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater LLP based in its Munich office. She is a member of the firm’s Healthcare Department, where her practice focuses on advising companies on corporate issues M&A transactions, in particular in the Healthcare sector.
Andrea advises companies and shareholders in transactions and restructuring issues as well as on litigation. She frequently advised finance investors and private equity companies as well as companies in the Life Sciences sector.
Andrea studied law at the University of Munich and
obtained her LL.M. from the University Panthéon-Assas
in Paris
in 2003. She received her Dr. jur. from both the universities Munich and Paris with a doctoral thesis in bio medicine law. Prior to joining McDermott Will & Emery, Andrea practiced as a member of the corporate department at an international law firm in Munich.
Andrea is admitted to the German Bar. She is fluent in German, English, French and Italian.
