Amol Parikh is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the
Amol focuses his practice on IP litigation, counseling and prosecution. In the patent prosecution area he concentrates on electronic and computer technologies. He has prosecution experience in the fields of digital and analog circuits, digital communications, computer software and hardware, programmable logic circuits, semiconductor devices, artificial intelligence, medical devices and acoustic transducers. In addition, Amol has experience in patent and trademark litigation, client counseling, opinion work, licensing, confidentiality agreements, trademark opposition proceedings, due diligence and other investigations.
During law school he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Amy J. St. Eve, District Judge, Northern District of Illinois. Prior to attending law school, Amol held various positions with Hughes Network Systems training in telecommunication system design, and in particular the design and testing of base station cellular transmit filters.
