He has advised a variety of foreign and German clients, strategic und financial investors, including those in the automotive, consumer electronics, defence, energy, instrument manufacturing, internet, publishing, retail, software, technology, test technology and tourism industries, among others in their mergers and acquisitions activities acquiring and selling targets in Germany. He advised on the formation of several international joint ventures. Christian advises various listed companies: E.g. on their IPO, structural and capital measure, spin offs, contribution in kind and mergers with other listed companies.
Recently, Christian advised on a number of M&A and Private Equity transactions: MBO of IABG, Private Equity financed acquisition of WTW, Schott Geräte, STM Meinsberg, ebro Electronics, KMS (Munich local cable operator), TB&C Outsert and Vanatech, Venture and Private Equity financed participation in Global Media, Elcomax and Carpo Holding, the restructuring of Swoboda, the joint venture between Tomorrow Focus and NCL and its subsequent dissolution, the acquisition for strategic investors of the European minilab service business of Konica Minolta, of Jameda and Epidauros Biotechnolgie and the sales of Steiner Optik, Ahorn Gerätetechnik and Epidauros Biotechnologie.
Christian advised on restructurings and acquisitions in distressed situations like the separation of Grundig from its former shareholder Phillips, the acquisitions of EuroNet Optics, Hexmac and IMP Interactive Marketing Partner and advises clients in corporate dispute resolutions.
