Gordon Greenberg was quoted in the April 7 issue of the Los Angeles Daily Journal in the article, "U.S. Judge Tosses Shareholders' Class Action Suit Against Perot Systems," mentioning McDermott's representation of Perot Systems in its recent class action victory.  Mr. Greenberg stated, "Perot Systems is not an energy provider and has never been found to have done anything wrong."  Daniel Chammas, Richard Frey and Francisca Mok were also mentioned as members of the team representing Perot Systems.

2004

Gordon Greenberg was profiled as the "Gentle Giant" on the front page the Daily Journal EXTRA on October 4.  The four page feature, cover story highlights Mr. Greenberg's recent work for CDR Enterprises, an entity of the French government arm Consortium Realisation, in the prosecution of Credit Lyonnais, and highlights a number of milestones in his career since serving in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Chicago.  The article describes Mr. Greenberg as: "Renowned for his grace under pressure, veteran white-collar criminal defender Gordon Greenberg uses his communication skills to calm nerves and get high-profile clients out of hot water."

Gordon Greenberg was quoted in a Reuters wire story regarding the Martha Stewart case.  The story which appeared in The Toronto Star, the Calgary Sun and The Ottawa Sun on April 2 reported on Martha Stewart's retrial.  "It's an uphill battle for the defense," commented Mr. Greenberg.

The February issue of Los Angeles Magazine contained an advertising supplement listing Southern California "Super Lawyers."  Gordon Greenberg, Steve Kroft, Paul Lawrence and Doug Mancino were listed among the California Super Lawyers.  The Super Lawyers lists the top 5% attorneys in Southern California as a result of a unbiased poll conducted by Super Lawyers, an independent publication.

Gordon Greenberg was quoted in the February 8 issue of The Washington Post regarding the increased accountability set forth by the SEC.  "Right now there's a hue and cry for all professionals, accountants and lawyers to be subject to penalties.  It's like what happened in the [1980s] savings and loan crisis," commented Mr. Greenberg.

2002

Gordon Greenberg co-chaired and participated in the ABA/ABA Money Laundering Enforcement Seminar which took place on October 27-29 in Arlington, Virginia, and had 550 bankers and attorneys in attendance.  Mr. Greenberg was the moderator on "The Gatekeeper Issue," panel which aired on C-SPAN on October 28.  The panel included leading U.S. government officials.  The key issue debated was the responsibility of attorneys to report suspicious transactions by clients.

The article addresses how the Patriot Act can or cannot be used in terms of profiling terrorist suspects.

Gordon Greenberg was quoted in the November 19 issue of the Los Angeles Business Journalregarding the unprecedented amount of vacancies in the U.S. District Court. Mr. Greenberg commented on the overwhelming workload that is being handled by the active judges.
