MWE Strengthens Media and IT Team in Munich
MUNICH, GERMANY — On January 2, 2004, Dr. Wolfgang Freiherr Raitz von Frentz, LL.M. (35) joined McDermott Will & Emery’s Munich office as a partner in the telecommunications, media & information technology team (TMT).
Dr. von Frentz focuses his practice on media and IT law. During his five years of practice as an attorney at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Cologne he advised well-known clients from the media and TMT sector on operational matters and transactions, in particular in the area of film, television, IT-outsourcing, trademark and know how licensing.
Dr. von Frentz who is the author of numerous publications on entertainment law is looking forward to the new challenge: “McDermott is one of the few law firms with a TMT team that can offer high quality legal advice in Germany as well as in the media and IT centers on the west coast of the United States.”
