Intellectual Property Partner Anthony de Alcuaz Joins Silicon Valley Office
SILICON VALLEY - Anthony de Alcuaz has joined the international law firm McDermott Will & Emery as a partner in its 90+ lawyer Intellectual Property Department. He will be resident in the Firm's Silicon Valley office.
Formerly with a Bay Area firm, Mr. de Alcuaz focuses his practice on intellectual property law and litigation, commercial litigation and technology licensing. He has represented clients in the semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, software, consumer electronics, computers, peripherals and gaming industries and has handled cases on behalf of major companies including Adaptec, Inc., Mitel Corporation, NextCard, Inc., Nikon Precision, Inc. and Sigma, Inc.

Mr. de Alcuaz graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz (B.A., 1972) and Hastings College of the Law (J.D., 1975). He is a member of the bars of California and Texas and admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
