McDermott to Host Citywide Pride Event in June 2008
CHICAGO (June 3, 2008) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to host a joint luncheon presentation for Citywide Pride. "Out In the Workplace, But In the Dark About Your Financial Future?: 10 Things You Need to Know about Employee Benefits and Financial Planning for Domestic Partners", will be presented by Todd Solomon, partner in McDermott's Employee Benefits Department, and Marcus Boggs and Nora Winsberg, Financial Advisors, Global Wealth Management, Merrill Lynch. The session, which is a joint effort between McDermott and Firm client Merrill Lynch & Co., will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Chicago office of McDermott Will & Emery.
This year marks the seventh annual Citywide Pride. Citywide Pride is a coalition of Chicagoland companies coming together during Pride Month (June) to celebrate diversity in the workplace. In particular, the consortium strives to educate and empower the LGBT workforce and their allies. A wide array of LGBT-focused educational and celebratory events are held throughout the month.
