Boston Corporate Department Welcomes Two Leading Attorneys
BOSTON (July 8, 2008) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Byron S. Kalogerou and Terrence W. Mahoney have joined the Corporate Department based in the Firm's Boston office. Mr. Kalogerou joins as partner while Mr. Mahoney joins as senior counsel.
"Byron and Terry have a very impressive track record in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. What makes them unique is that they have each spent considerable time as general counsels with major corporations and each truly understand the priorities and challenges facing in-house counsel. They will be powerful additions to the Firm's corporate practice—both in the Boston office and firm-wide," commented Mark Stein, head of McDermott's Boston office Corporate Department.
Timothy Alvino, head of the Firm's Corporate Department commented, "Byron and Terry have more than 55 years of combined experience advising companies on mission-critical corporate matters. They are recognized for providing strategic insight and extraordinary project-management skills to clients in their acquisitions and divestitures. Additionally, Byron and Terry offer clients deep experience and a high level of sophistication on cross-border transactions and the development of multinational corporate structures. They will be working closely with lawyers in our Life Science and Healthcare practices, as well as our European and Asian offices, to provide comprehensive transactional and advisory services to our clients."
