McDermott Advises Juwi on the Sale of German Wind Farms

LONDON, DÜSSELDORF (10 June 2009) –International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has advised Juwi GmbH, Wörrstadt on the sale of the Hartenfelser Kopf 13 and Bistersberg wind farms located in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, to International Power plc, London. The wind farms have a combined capacity of approximately 10 MW.

Juwi GmbH is a developer of wind, solar and bioenergy projects.  Juwi Group employs more than 550 employees worldwide.

International Power plc is an independent power producer with interests in more than 45 power stations worldwide.
