McDermott Expands Corporate Department on West Coast
SILICON VALLEY (January 14, 2008) — McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Amar Murugan has joined the Corporate Department based in the Silicon Valley office. Mr. Murugan, who joins as a partner, focuses his practice on corporate finance, securities and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Murugan represents both publicly and privately held companies in merger and acquisition transactions of various structures, public offerings and private financings. He also handles ongoing corporate and securities compliance issues.

Mr. Murugan earned his J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law and his B.S., cum laude, from Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association.
