McDermott Ranked Among Top National Law Firms by Chambers USA 2009
CHICAGO (June 15, 2009) — McDermott Will & Emery has once again been ranked among the nation’s leading law firms in the 2009 edition of Chambers USA. Of particular note, the following McDermott practice areas are ranked at the National level: Antitrust, Appellate Law, Energy (Electricity, LNG and Oil & Gas), ERISA Litigation, Government (Political Law), Intellectual Property, International Trade, Life Sciences, Products Liability, Projects (Oil & Gas), Tax (Controversy) and Tax (Corporate & Finance). In addition, McDermott’s Food & Beverages (Alcohol) and Wealth Management practices are ranked as Tier 1 National practices.
Overall, McDermott was listed in 47 national and state practice-area rankings in this year’s guide. Among these, the Firm received 9 Tier 1 and 14 Tier 2 rankings.
