Employment Alert No. 102: TUPE Regulations delayed

We were expecting the 2005 TUPE Regulations to come into force on 1 October 2005. However, the DTI has received so many comments on the draft Regulations, which were published earlier this year, that they have had to re-think the timetable.
This means that the earliest we can now expect the new TUPE Regulations to come into force is 6 April 2006.
