McDermott Will & Emery has a practice group focused on assisting Israeli companies in transactions outside of Israel, and advises U.S. and multinational clients on all aspects of doing business in Israel. Our Israel Practice Group represents Israeli companies in connection with public offerings and private placements, merger and acquisition transactions and other commercial transactions. We represent U.S. and Israel-based private equity and venture capital funds in both fund formation and portfolio investment transactions. We also represent U.S. subsidiaries and affiliates of Israeli companies, as well as U.S.-based companies and both U.S. and non-U.S. financial institutions with business interests in Israel. Our clients range from start-ups to publicly traded companies and include institutional as well as individual investors.
McDermott Will & Emery lawyers have been actively working with Israeli companies since the mid-1980s. In the last two years, we acted as lead or U.S. counsel on over 30 Israel-related matters, including representing funds and issuers in private equity investments in Israeli based companies, the sale of publicly and privately held Israeli companies, organizing investment funds, spin-offs from Israeli-based public companies, private placements of securities of Israeli companies and public offerings.
