With offices in Düsseldorf and Munich, our German Labor and Employment Group covers the entire spectrum of labor and employment law.  Our lawyers regularly advise on matters such as restructuring and reorganizations, plant closures, relocations, outsourcing, and other changes in operations, as well as on labor law aspects regarding transactions and privatization.  Our practice is also focused on negotiations with employees' representations on shop agreements, social plans and other collective labor law issues.  We assist our clients in drafting employment and services agreements as well as in negotiating termination agreements.  Furthermore, we advise on employee benefits, pension schemes and secondments of employees.

We represent a broad range of clients including industrial enterprises (primarily based in the U.S., the UK and Germany), and recently represented a leading European supplier of construction and raw materials on the post-merger integration following the acquisition of two large German competitors, including the negotiations with trade unions on collective bargaining agreements for the structure of employees' representation within the entire group, negotiations with the group works council on a mass redundancy program, codetermination issues and the establishment of a European works council.
