Overview
Sam Genovese focuses his practice on technology transactions, outsourcing and other commercial transactions. He counsels clients in a wide variety of technology transactions, including cloud computing, software licenses, technology development and licensing agreements, e-commerce arrangements, software-as-a-service, technology maintenance and service agreements, and software compliance audits. Additionally, he represents clients in information technology and business process outsourcing transactions. Sam also has specialized transactional experience providing legal support to companies in the cryptocurrency and Web3 industry.
During law school, Sam was an articles editor for the SMU Science and Technology Law Review.

- Drafted a transition services agreement in connection with a food service company’s purchase of a competitor
- Negotiated terms and conditions on behalf of a window manufacturer for lead generation services
- Drafted a token purchase agreement on behalf of a cryptocurrency company for the distribution of tokenized telecommunication credits
- Drafted terms and conditions on behalf of a cryptocurrency company startup for the creation of collectivized master nodes that allow customers to provide fractional contributions toward the creation of said nodes
