International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to share that it has been honored with the Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc.’s (LSGMI) Equal Justice Collaborative Partnership Award. The recognition highlights the Firm’s innovative pro bono collaboration in launching the Transactional Equal Justice Clinic alongside Legal Services of Greater Miami.
As a strong proponent for pro bono legal services, McDermott partner Michael Bruno founded and chairs the Transactional Equal Justice Clinic. The clinic provides free legal advice to nonprofits and low- to moderate-income small business owners, helping them to launch a business. Organizing pro bono clinics suited for attorneys specializing in tax, corporate law, estate planning and intellectual property, the clinic offers opportunities for transactional attorneys who desire additional pro bono options within the realm of their legal skillset.
