Overview
Emily Harris is a litigator who represents clients in complex commercial disputes, class actions and investigations. She has experience in all phases of litigation in federal and state courts, as well as in domestic and international arbitration.
Emily has handled disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, and false advertising, and entertainment and media, among other areas of law. She also has experience conducting internal investigations and advising both corporate and individual clients on regulatory and compliance issues.
Prior to joining McDermott, Emily practiced at a New York law firm and at an international law firm. She also clerked for the Honorable Susan L. Carney in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Honorable William F. Kuntz in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
