Düsseldorf, July 05, 2022 – McDermott Will & Emery has advised Swiss Life on the purchase of a 73,200 m² site in Düsseldorf from METRO PROPERTIES.
The site acquired by Swiss Life Asset Managers is currently part of METRO Campus. Swiss Life Asset Managers will reshape the inner-city area under a new name and develop an urban quarter. In addition to apartments, there will be space for commercial areas for restaurants and stores as well as space for age-appropriate living and care. Public spaces, a daycare center and an elementary school are also an integral part of the planning – all combined to meet the highest ESG standards. The transaction was notarized on June 30, 2022 by Droste + Haibt notary’s office in Düsseldorf.
