DC also has significant experience in the cryptocurrency industry and has represented crypto investors, crypto investment funds and crypto company executives in bringing and defending against a variety of legal claims and in interfacing with regulatory and law enforcement agencies.

A seasoned litigator, DC has conducted jury trials, arbitrations, and appeals and helped clients resolve their disputes through mediation. He has extensive deposition experience, including defending the depositions of several executives of a public company, including the CEO. DC also regularly assists clients with litigation matters in the state and federal courts located in Washington State.

DC maintains an active pro bono practice representing survivors of domestic violence seeking to escape the cycle of abuse.

Before joining McDermott, DC served as a law clerk to the Honorable John C. Coughenour in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington.
