Overview
International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Enfinity Global Inc., a US-based leading renewable energy and sustainability services company, and its affiliated companies, in the acquisition of a 400 MW operational utility-scale solar portfolio, marking a milestone in the expansion of the company in the US. The project includes 28 solar projects across three states from certain affiliates of Capital Dynamics, Inc.
McDermott also handled the structuring, negotiation and documentation of a senior secured credit facility with a subsidiary of Enfinity Global as the borrower, Nomura Securities International Inc., as sole lead arranger and bookrunner, Nomura Corporate Funding Americas, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Zions Bankcorporation and Bayerische Landesbank, New York Branch, as lenders, and Deutsche Bank Trust Company Americas as the administrative agent. The facilities were used to finance a portion of the purchase price of the aforementioned acquisition and other corporate purposes. AB Car Val also provided funding for the transaction.
