International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Newcourt Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) in its definitive business combination agreement with Psyence Group Inc., a life science biotechnology company pioneering the use of natural psilocybin in mental health and well-being, and Psyence Biomed Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Psyence. The combined company will create a public company that leverages natural psilocybin in the treatment of palliative care.
The cross-border deal team was led by Ari Edelman and included Sunyi Snow, Beth Kuhn and Caroline Sandy.
