Overview
International law firm McDermott Will & Emery acted as legal advisors to Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS), the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, in its partnership with Integrum Holdings LP, an investment firm focused on partnering with technology-enabled services companies in the financial and business services sectors. The partnership will further enhance SRS’s services within the captive insurance and alternative risk markets and allow SRS to build on its foundation of independence, quality and expertise to deepen its existing relationships, expand both geographically and in its service offerings, and more actively pursue strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
The transaction was announced on February 27, 2023 and is subject to customary closing conditions including required regulatory approvals.
The cross-border McDermott team was led by Michael Halsband along with Bob Clagg, Yuxin Jin, Inès Achour with support from Michael Byrne, John Hammond, Jeffrey Holdvogt, John Lutz, Brian Mead, Jennifer Mikulina, Sabine Naugès, David Neville, Heidi Steele, Ty Carson, Deepali Doddi, David Levine, Benoit Feroldi, Andrew Granek, Jennifer Hill, Amanda Kane and Anthony Teng.
