Overview
Keith M. Pattiz has extensive experience in the areas of commercial leasing, financing, sales and acquisitions, hotel transactions, joint ventures and real estate workout matters. He has provided legal representation to a wide variety of clients, including major residential, office, hotel and shopping center developers, hotel operators, lending institutions, and US and non-US investors.
Keith has broad experience and is a recognized practitioner in the hospitality sector. He represents numerous owners, operators and developers in their acquisition development activity, financing management agreements, retail leasing and dispute resolution matters. For more than 10 years, Keith has moderated and been a panelist at the NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference.

- RFR Holdings, one of Manhattan’s leading real estate investors, in multiple acquisitions and refinancings including the Seagram Building, Lever House, 17 State Street, Paramount Hotel and Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City and the W South Beach Hotel in Miami Beach
- A joint venture between RFR Holding LLC and SIGNA Holding GmbH in their acquisition of the iconic New York landmark Chrysler Building and an adjacent retail property located at 145-155 East 42nd Street
- Ian Schrager Company, the renowned hotel developer, in multiple acquisitions, financings, and joint ventures including the “Public” brand hotels and the EDITION brand with Marriott International
- Morgans Hotel Group in multiple acquisitions, developments and financings including the Delano Shore Club in Miami Beach, FL; the Morgans, Paramount, Hudson, and Royalton in New York City; and the Mondrian in Los Angeles, Miami Beach and Soho, NY
- The Lightstone Group, owner and developer of Marriott International’s Moxy brand hotels, in the negotiation of food and beverage management agreements with leading food and beverage operators
