International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented The Beekman Group (Beekman) in its sale of ActivePro Rehab Partners (ActivePro), a leading provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy to patients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, to an affiliate of PT Solutions Physical Therapy, a national physical therapy provider.
Beekman is a New York City-based private equity firm focused on building industry-leading companies in the healthcare, consumer and business services sectors. Beekman invested in Twin Boro Physical Therapy in August 2019 which later rebranded to ActivePro. Under Beekman’s ownership, ActivePro transformed its business through both organic and M&A growth initiatives.
The McDermott team was led by Michael Hacker and Justin Aiello and included Stephanie DeGennaro, Daniel Fernandez, Niraj Patel, Callee Donovan, Adam Spiegel, Kay Kim, Abigail Kagan, Stephania Sanon, Melis Solaksubasi, Lisa Loesel, Jennifer Hill, Kate Williams, Sarah Bro, Scott Weinstein, Li Wang, Daphne Trotter, Ty Carson, Gregory Heltzer, Matt Evola, Kevin Hall and Andrew Granek.
