David Noren is speaking at the 34th Annual Institute on Current Issues in International Taxation presented by the George Washington University Law School and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The annual conference aims to address key practical issues faced by tax practitioners, corporate tax executives and the IRS. David will present on the session, “Foreign Tax Credits (I) – ‘What is a Creditable Tax’ and OECD Pillar 2,” which will discuss IRS Notice 2023-55 and foreign tax credit regulations, creditability of the Pillar 2 taxes, treatment of refundable credits and compliance requirements for the treaty coordination rule.
