Overview
Giulio Marconcin focuses his practice on litigation and arbitration proceedings. He advises both Italian and international clients on a wide range of civil and commercial matters, with a specific focus on corporate law issues.
Prior to joining McDermott, Giulio gained experience working for leading domestic law firms in Milan and provided legal advice on civil and corporate litigation issues with particular focus on liability claim against corporate bodies, challenges to company resolutions, M&A litigation, national procurement, sale and lease agreements.
Giulio is currently a teaching assistant and member of the examination committee in Commercial Law at the University of Verona.

- Assisted a US multinational company operating in the manufacturing sector in a domestic arbitration proceeding before the Milan Chamber of Arbitration with reference to the breach of a joint venture agreement*
- Assisted a US private equity fund active in the aviation industry in a claw back action brought by a leading domestic aviation company*
- Assisted the minority shareholder of the holding company of an Italian group operating in the renewable energy field in a complex domestic arbitration proceeding before the Milan Chamber of Arbitration related to the breach and interpretation of a share purchase agreement as well as in several subsequent correlated corporate litigation proceedings initiated before State Courts*
- Assisted the former shareholders of an Italian company active in the food and beverage industry in a domestic arbitration proceeding before the Milan Chamber of Arbitration concerning alleged violations of the representations and warranties contained in a share purchase agreement*
- Assisted the minority shareholder of the holding company of an Italian group operating in the private equity sector in a corporate dispute related to the exercise of the right of withdrawal*
- Assisted a domestic company operating in the recycling waste sector in an ad hoc domestic arbitration proceeding against the former members of the board of directors of the company concerning the breach of fiduciary duties*
