Overview
March 20, 2024 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Ashley Altschuler has been named a “Distinguished Leader” at The Legal Intelligencer’s Professional Excellence Awards 2024.
Ashley assumed the role of managing partner of McDermott’s Wilmington office in 2019. By 2023, he had grown a two-lawyer team working out of a temporary space to a thriving 30-person office situated in downtown Wilmington’s Brandywine Building. This expansion has solidified McDermott’s position as a trusted firm for litigation, transactions, and corporate counseling and restructuring in the Delaware market.
Ashley has achieved success as managing partner while continuing to build his market-leading Chancery litigation practice. With more than 20 years of experience in the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Delaware Supreme Court, as well as other trial and appellate courts in state and federal jurisdictions across the US, he focuses his practice on litigating corporate, securities and complex business matters.
The Professional Excellence Awards highlight work and achievements across the full breadth of the legal communities in Pennsylvania and Delaware. View the full list of honorees here.
