Overview
Todd Solomon served as co-chair and editor of The IBA Global Employment Institute’s 12th Annual Global Report, which explores trends in employment, benefits and human resources law. Abigail Kagan and Melis Solaksubasi were also contributors to the report.
The report is based on data from lawyers in 54 countries about emerging trends in employment, benefits and human resources law. The topics covered include the increasing adoption of AI, adapting to a flexible work environment, collective bargaining and industrial action, mental health in the workplace, privacy and data protection, equal pay for equal work, changes to various countries immigration policies, as well as a renewed focus on workplace environmental, social and governance concerns. Each Annual Global Report builds on the historical perspective of previous editions, highlighting international trends, employment, benefits and human resources law.
