Overview
Joseph Aminov focuses his practice exclusively on cryptocurrency and blockchain, with an emphasis on crypto-related litigation, regulatory advice, and government investigations. He leverages his unique background to help crypto exchanges, FinTech companies, Bitcoin miners, and other companies with novel business models navigate a developing digital asset industry.
Joseph’s litigation experience includes cases involving complex commercial and bankruptcy litigation. He advises on all facets of blockchain and FinTech-related legal matters, many of which are matters of first impression in an evolving regulatory landscape.
While earning his law degree, Joseph served as a legal intern for Jet Protocol Holdings, LLC, a decentralized finance lending protocol built on the Solana blockchain. He also served as a regulatory policy intern at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors and was lead articles editor of the German Law Journal.
Prior to law school, Joseph interned at the Financial Frauds Bureau of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
