Joshua (Josh) Stein focuses his practice on finance and restructuring matters, including commercial and syndicated lending and workouts, distressed transactions, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters.

Josh’s clients include private equity funds and corporate and high-net-worth individual borrowers. He also represents financial institutions and nontraditional lenders in single-lender and syndicated transactions and restructurings such as corporate and asset-based credit facilities and mezzanine loans. He has also represented debtors, financial institutions, creditor’s committees, fiduciaries, and other parties in bankruptcy and receivership proceedings, particularly regarding Chapter 11 issues.

In addition to his private practice experience, Josh served as a judicial law clerk at the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia for two years.

• Represented a national shipping company specializing in the transport of consumer vehicles with respect to its term loan and ABL facilities which have grown to over $300 million in the aggregate since initial funding.*
• Represented Piedmont Office Realty Trust with regards to its various unsecured facilities including a revolving line of credit and multiple term and delayed-draw facilities.*
• Represented CURO Group Holdings Corp., a direct-to-consumer lender, in connection with its various financings including a revolving credit facility and senior secured notes issuance.*
• Represented Genuine Parts Company in connection with the payoff of certain of its existing facilities.*
• Represented Serendipity Labs, Inc., a provider of upscale flexible workspace, in its Chapter 11 restructuring which resulted in creditors receiving 100% of their claims.*
