Ilka Breuer advises investment management companies and asset managers on regulatory issues in connection with the structuring, establishment and management of investment funds. She also advises institutional investors on the structuring and eligibility of (fund) investments, in particular in the areas of real estate, infrastructure and private equity.

Prior to joining McDermott, she worked for several years in the legal department of the German Investment and Asset Management Association (BVI) and for international law firms.

She is also an experienced speaker and participant in panel discussions.
