Frankfurt a.M., October 1, 2024 – McDermott Will & Emery is strengthening its German investment funds practice with the addition of lawyer Ilka Breuer. She will join McDermott’s Frankfurt office as Counsel on October 1, 2024.
Ilka Breuer has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of investment funds and asset management. She regularly advises investment companies and asset managers as well as institutional investors from Germany and abroad and also represents them vis-à-vis national and European supervisory authorities.
Ilka Breuer joins McDermott from Ashurst. From 2012 to 2020, she worked for the German Investment and Asset Management Association (BVI) in the legal department. She began her career as a lawyer at Clifford Chance.
