Chelsea Mounayer is a skilled litigator who focuses her practice on antitrust litigation and class action defense. Throughout her career, Chelsea has defended clients in complex civil litigation against claims of monopolization and conspiracy under various state and federal competition and consumer protection laws. - Defeated certification of a $17.4 billion damages class while representing a steel manufacturer in one of the largest private antitrust cases nationally, alleging an antitrust conspiracy among major US steel mills to restrict supply and fix prices of all steel products in the United States
- Defended a forest products manufacturer in a nationwide price-fixing class action and in opt-out litigation under state and federal law
- Defended a drywall manufacturer in price-fixing class actions brought by direct and indirect purchasers under federal and state antitrust and consumer protection laws
