Overview
November 18, 2024 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is pleased to announce that Julian André has been named a “legal visionary” as part of the Los Angeles Times’ fourth annual Business of Law magazine.
Julian helps clients facing government enforcement actions, prosecutions, and investigations achieve the best outcomes. He defends his clients against complex civil litigation and performs internal investigations. Leaning on his experience as an assistant US attorney in Los Angeles prosecuting financial crimes, Julian adds an inside perspective when devising defense strategies for companies and individuals encountering criminal and civil investigations by state and federal agencies, such as the US Department of Justice, the Office of Inspector General for the US Department of Health and Human Services, the US Securities and Exchange Commission, and the US Department of Labor. He also regularly advises clients on matters involving corporate governance and regulatory compliance, including anti-money laundering and anti-corruption issues.
The Los Angeles Times’ Business of Law magazine recognizes lawyers who have exhibited exemplary achievements within their practice areas. Nominees are determined based on noteworthy successes and accomplishments over the past 24 months, strong leadership roles, and innovative strategies that help their firms and clients avoid risk and leverage opportunities.
