Overview


Brendan O’Leary focuses his practice on corporate advisory and transactional matters, including representing private equity clients in buy-side and sell-side transactions primarily in the energy sector. He has a particular interest in the development of renewable energy projects. He regularly drafts and revises merger agreements, contribution agreements, purchase agreements, and other essential documents for mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions and conducts related due diligence document review.

While in law school, Brendan served as the executive note editor for Notre Dame Law School’s Journal of Legislation.

  • Represented a renewable energy developer in the acquisition of a 450 megawatts direct current solar project portfolio to support the developer’s operational portfolio and development pipeline*
  • Represented an investment management firm in the acquisition of a technology-enabled point-of-sale financial company that partners with contractors to provide financing for the installation of residential solar systems and other home improvements*
  • Represented a private equity firm in the business combination and formation of a leading provider of production optimization and artificial lift solutions in the shale industry*
