International law firm McDermott Will & Emery advised Stand Insurance Solutions (Stand), a tech enabled managing general agency, in its initial launch and early structuring of its debut insurance product: insurance for California-based homeowners covering climate-impacted events such as wildfire, and wind.
The company is poised to write over $2 billion in home coverage within its first year, and will combine expertise in fire, fuel, land, and structures with advanced physics and AI modeling to develop low-risk mitigation plans.
