Düsseldorf, 27 February 2014 – McDermott Will & Emery advised US-American food producer Jack Link’s on the acquisition of the Bifi brand from Unilever. The value of the transaction of the food branch has not been revealed.
Beside the German business that includes a production site, the Benelux countries are as well involved as Switzerland. In addition, the part of the business that is known as “Peperami” in the UK and in Ireland was part of the acquisition package. In Germany Jack Link’s is mostly known for its “Beef Jerky” strips. The firm sells products in 40 countries.
