Overview
Pop culture, and movies, in particular, provide ample privacy and cybersecurity lessons that lawyers can implement in their roles as counselors and advisers to clients. Thanks to movies we know that passwords should be complex, or that without sufficient monitoring and alerting, insiders can pose a threat to IT infrastructure and systems. In this program, Heidi Wachs and David Saunders will recap and analyze data privacy or cybersecurity scenes from several well-known movies, and then discuss what lessons can be learned from each scenario.
Attendees will learn some of the concepts and skills that can help anticipate, prepare for, and respond to cyber-attacks and privacy incidents related to critical infrastructure, monitoring and threat detection, general cyber security hygiene, and insider threats.
