We cordially invite you to our McDermott Deal Academy – in 2021 the event will be an interactive online seminar again. With our experts from the Real Estate & Regulatory departments, we will discuss current developments in real estate transactions – this year with a focus on due diligence.
The advancement of regulation and European requirements demand new requirements for acquisition due diligence: Changes in money laundering law, the macro issue of ESG as well as new developments in real estate law can (and should) be considered in legal due diligence. How do institutional buyers of real estate and their transaction and asset managers ensure that they set the right focus in due diligence and fulfill existing obligations and requirements in an increasingly regulated environment?
We would like to provide you with an overview of the legal principles, potential pitfalls, and how to resolve them, as well as examples from our daily practice.

Our online seminar will take place as a one-hour session on November 9th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The event is aimed at employees of real estate funds and asset managers, investors, project developers, portfolio holders, banks, and others with a connection to real estate and its management.
