On March 20, our McDermott Deal Academy took place. During our online seminar, the focus was on the real estate asset class of “data centers”. Our real estate and regulatory experts discussed the following topics:
- Acquisition of “data center” properties – what developers should look for in the acquisition review.
- Drafting contracts – how to negotiate purchase agreements correctly.
- Management of data centers – special features when drafting rental agreements.
We provided an overview of legal requirements and highlighted design options, pitfalls, and their solutions.
The event was aimed at investment managers, employees of funds and asset managers, investors, project developers, property holders, banks, and alternative capital providers.
