Overview
On June 1, 2020, the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice (DOJ) issued updates to its “Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Program” guidance. This update reflects the agency’s evolving views on compliance program elements and activities, as well as the questions DOJ asks when assessing the effectiveness of an organization’s compliance program. It can also be useful for organizations in evaluating their own compliance program effectiveness.
This program, featuring insights from our white collar, healthcare, and corporate governance teams, will include:
- Analysis of DOJ’s revised “Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs” guidance and the agency’s refined perspective
- Practical implications for compliance officers, in-house counsel, and audit & compliance committees when evaluating and operating compliance programs
- Other important developments relating to corporate compliance programs
We want to ensure we address the issues of most importance to our participants, and we encourage you to submit your questions for the panel in advance during registration.
