This one-day program will focus on the range of legal developments in the health and welfare plan space as well as ERISA considerations applicable to health plans. Sarah will be speaking on the below panel:

ESG and Employee Benefits
ESG continues to be in the news. The “S” part of ESG – the Social – aspect can address not only how organization impacts people and the community outside the organization, but how it impacts people within the organization itself. Recruiting and retention are key goals for many organizations and an organization’s employee benefits can play major roles in both. After attending this panel, participants will be able to:

  • Design benefits plans to support underrepresented groups
  • Ensure benefits comply with federal, state and local guidelines related to diversity, equity & inclusion
  • Discuss best practices/offer competitive benefits designed to attract diverse candidates
  • Analyze benefits considerations in the new landscape of ESG, including fertility and surrogacy benefits
