McDermott Will & Emery sponsored a lunch program, “Collaborative Transformation Through Unique Partnerships,” at the 2019 Wall Street Journal Health Program. Stephen Bernstein, Vernessa Pollard, Kate McDonald, and Kerrin Slattery were joined by Chris Coburn of Partners HealthCare, Timothy S. Peters Strickland of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) and Thomas Moriarty of CVS Health for a discussion on the ways organizations are collaborating across traditional divides to tackle health care’s more pressing issues, how these new partnerships are disrupting the way health care and life sciences products are delivered and paid for, and the complexities that arise when developing and executing these collaborations.
