When the Transparency Register and Financial Information Act comes into force on 1 August 2021, many companies in Germany will actually have to notify their beneficial owners to the transparency register for the first time. The most important legal aspects for the changeover are briefly presented below by Dr Sabine Balda and Sebastian Bonk.
