Andrew Liazos commented on the new requirement for publicly traded companies to include chief executive compensation figures in their annual proxy statements. “Even though the legislation didn’t expressly note the purpose of the rule, one would expect on some level it’s designed to help decrease the pay gap,” Mr. Liazos said. “Whether that (occurs) very much remains to be seen.”
