December 4, 2023 – International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The Firm has now been top ranked for 18 years on the CEI, which is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.
“McDermott works to ensure that all differences among our personnel, including with regard to sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, are embraced and consistent with our overall commitment to inclusion, which benefits our clients and our Firm culture,” said Maria Rodriguez, chair of McDermott’s LGBTQ+ Justice, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Subcommittee and managing partner of the Los Angeles office. “This recognition underscores our innovative strategies and unwavering commitment to LGBTQ+ equality.”
McDermott’s continued efforts in once again satisfying all the CEI’s criteria earned the Firm a score of 100 and the designation as recipient of the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion.
