International law firm McDermott Will & Emery received outstanding rankings in this year’s IAM Patent 1000. The Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group earned silver and bronze placements across the US and Germany this year alongside 18 individual lawyer recommendations.
McDermott’s US-based IP group is highly regarded in this year’s rankings for its “strong technical backgrounds and notable patent drafting, prosecution and litigation skills.” The publication notes that the group “is in the vanguard of the action: in the past five years, it has handled some 210-plus district court cases, 100-plus PTAB proceedings and numerous ITC investigations.
