International law firm McDermott Will & Emery advised The BE Company of United Kingdom Limited on the acquisition of CloudCoCo Connect Limited (Connect), a subsidiary of CloudCoCo plc (AIM: CLCO), a leading UK provider of managed IT services and communications solutions for both private and public sector organisations.
CloudCoCo Connect delivers co-location and data centre services to 260 customers, with a presence across 32 data centres throughout the UK.
The BE Company specialises in providing clean energy infrastructure to power-intensive industries, utilising a project developer model to deliver Clean Energy-as-a-Service. Their core strengths include project development, management, and financing, enabling the provision of low-cost clean energy at an industrial scale.
