Munich, March 14, 2024 – McDermott Will & Emery has advised NORD Holding on the acquisition of powerdata GmbH by the German IT consultancy CONUTI Holding.
Berlin based powerdata is a leading provider of AI & IT software solutions and services for the energy industry.
CONUTI Holding, a portfolio company of NORD Holding, was founded in 2010 in Karlsruhe and is an innovative IT consulting company with a strong footprint in the utilities industry.
Since 2022, CONUTI has been part of NORD Holding, a private equity and asset management company with EUR 3 billion assets under management. The focus of NORD Holding’s direct business is on the structuring and financing of corporate succession models, the acquisition of group parts/subsidiaries and the expansion financing of medium-sized companies. The fund investment division focuses on the micro and small cap segment of mid-cap-oriented private equity funds in Europe.
McDermott has advised NORD Holding and its portfolio companies on several transactions , most recently on the acquisition of the nutritional supplement manufacturer ABJ alive.
